Hosszúhetény Village Museum (Tájház)
Immerse yourself into an authentic setting and a lifestyle of 1930s in Hosszúhetény. Marvel at the unique Hosszúhetény folk costumes or at one of the most valuable local collections of folk artefacts, tools and kitchenware in the Baranya region, originating from the second half of the 19th century till the first half of the 20th century. Explore the history of a house which was built from adobe at around 1860 and at some point had 3 generations living together under one roof.
Would you like to know how the local residents used to produce their own clothes from hemp or what a still functional predecessor of a harvester looks like?
There is plenty more to see and experience in our Village Museum, especially during the village programmes, celebrations and festivals.
